What if it's Not About Food

I know you've thought this many, many times before.

In fact, you probably already know what it is, or at least you're in the ballpark. But you're not sure how to engage it head on with a real sense of victory, so you eat, or work out, or avoid, or belittle (others and yourself) or whatever habitual obstacle you toss in the path again and again.

But I'm convinced that, while it's a combo of work and hope, with a clear mind and self control we can engage what our lives are really about. It's not about the food, or the chronic dating game, or the amount of money you make or don't make... it's deeper than that. Ask yourself:

Q. If I could help solve, heal, serve _________ I know I would be using my time, energy, skills, resources and calling with purpose.

Q. If I were to engage my God-breathed design, with confidence, even if it requires investing in and learning new skills, information etc... who would benefit and how would their lives be better off?

Q. What single attitude shift can I make RIGHT NOW to begin the shift? EX: I'm worth it, God designed me with purpose, Of course I can, I'm willing to, You did a great job etc.

Q. What single, daily action will you start TODAY to begin living this out? EX: Daily writing habit, Walk taller and look others in the eye, Treat others how I want to be treated, Share my ideas with humble confidence etc.

So, how did it go? That's just the beginning.

Let's spend some time together 1x1 over the phone or in person. Let's spend a season walking toward a clearer Mission and greater Vision.
