Others have ulterior plans for Heschel, Joanna, Chih, and Nuzrene. While the four navigate the ocean on a rusted-out freighter with a deceitful crew, the glow illuminates the dark in another town with another student.

 

New Vorkutlag is central to the new reality of next-gen civil re-engineering known as The Southern Rail. Scarlet, however, can’t help but rebel as she uniquely witnesses the glow despite the best efforts of Willow, her W.A.F.E. mentor. Unfortunately for everyone, things never quite turn out how they first appear.
