Plans Don't

I've had three conversations in the last two weeks. Actually, I've had more than that, but three with similar roots relevant to my point.
These conversations were on totally different topics with totally different contexts and totally similar issues at the root. All three of these touched on the tension between the planning phase of a action, activity, or adventure, and the discerning in real time as you go practice.
Catch that? Plans vs. Practices.
Thoughts vs. Actions.
Intentions vs. Applications.
You get the idea.
And what came out of each of these three conversations, aside from the nuanced "next steps," was that each person or persons involved would go ahead and either begin or continue working their plan while navigating the "current" as they figure out and move toward the "preferred."
One relying on the wisdom and Spirit of the living God for guidance as they go and insight in planning.
One leaning heavily on prior cast vision and mission language to guide as they go.
And one blending a bit of the previous two, with the voice of their spouse as an immediate sounding board.
Whatever the case, plans don't or at least shouldn't stop the adventure from moving forward, particularly if they aren't fully developed...instead, and often, they are developed as the train moves along.
Are your lack of plans or changing plans stopping you from acting. Okay. Then what?
